Now here’s some news to brighten up a Monday! Dope Donuts, an artisan doughnut delivery service that we first reported on in August 2014, is inviting you to create your own doughnut at the special Dipped! event on 8 March in Johannesburg.

The event offers guests the opportunity to customise their own doughnut with a selection of glazes and toppings. There will be four glazes to choose from, including dark chocolate and raspberry, and up to eight decadent toppings like crushed almond praline and sweet honeycomb. Tickets to the event cost R95 per person and the price includes your doughnut, a refreshing champagne cordial spritzer, and a scoop of creamy gourmet ice cream.

Dipped! takes place from 3pm to 6pm at The Kitchen on the 4th floor in New Doornfontein, where guests can enjoy music, an image display by a local Instagrammer, and gorgeous views across the Johannesburg skyline. Please note that entrance will be granted to ticket holders only.
