Casalinga

Experience an elevated event at Casalinga in Johannesburg where a thoughtfully curated food and Laphroaig whisky experience awaits. Indulge in an Italian Country ambience while savouring a Laphroaig-inspired pork belly and seafood feast, harmonizing the whisky’s three pillars: salt, peat, and fire. Casalinga’s chef and drinks specialists, Rausharn Griffin, and Bradley De Jager, blend tradition with innovation to create a farm-to-table Italian restaurant.

Nocturne

Nocturne, a brand new intimate and refined establishment in Stellenbosch, is teaming up with Laphroaig for their Taste Trailblazers campaign. The dining experience aims to bridge the gap between food and mixology, with a focus on sustainability, authenticity, seasonality, and locality.

Guests can anticipate an 6-course seasonally curated menu, expertly paired with Laphroaig beverages, in a multi-sensory and interactive setting. The chef and mixologist will directly engage with guests, offering an intimate experience. Nocturne was founded by chef duo Darren Badenhorst and Callan Austin, also owners of Eat Out Retail Capital Best New Restaurant, Dusk. The menu draws inspiration from Dusk’s test kitchen and fermentation lab, exploring innovative boundaries in South Africa’s food and beverage sector.
