Farro to host exciting pop-up in Cape Town

Cape Town food lovers, prepare to be excited… Farro, the popular Eat Out star restaurant based on Gabriëlskloof Wine Estate in Bot Rivier, is set to host a pop-up at Makers Landing at the V&A Waterfront this February.

For two nights only – Friday, 21 February, and Saturday, 22 February – Farro’s husband-and-wife team invites you to join for a five-course chef’s menu. With Nina Simone’s soulful tunes as the soundtrack and expertly mixed cocktails in hand, the pop-up promises to be both playful and sophisticated. 

The menu reads like a love letter to flavour, featuring a progression of dishes from briny oyster snacks, through handmade pasta, to fresh fish and meat courses, concluding with a sweet treat that’s sure to leave you wanting more. 

For those looking to elevate their experience, an optional drinks pairing is on offer – described by the Farro team as a “killer” selection that complements each course. The wine list boasts some serious “bangers”, with thoughtful non-alcoholic options ensuring everyone can join in the fun.  

Space is limited, with a maximum table size of six people and a strict policy of no dietary accommodations. Tickets are priced at R800 per person, with a required deposit of R400 to secure your spot.
