In 2023, Zioux, part of Marble Hospitality, earned a coveted star at the Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards. The creative culinary force behind it all is chef David Higgs, who’s gearing up to expand the brand with Marble Cape Town, set to open this December.

David recently sat down with Anele and the Club on 947 to chat about his food journey, the role of restaurant awards, and why they mean so much to those who work in the industry.
