Mark your calendars, clear your schedule and ready your slanket: MasterChef SA Season 2 is only a week away. And this year, viewers can look forward to double the action with two episodes a week.

Tune in to M-Net every Tuesday and Wednesday night from 7.30pm to 8.30pm for more Master Classes, more rewards and, for the first time ever, footage from the shared house in which the contestants stayed throughout the competition.

This year’s judges will remain the same, so viewers can once again look forward to seeing the three stooges, Benny Masekwameng, Andrew Atkinson and Pete Goffe-Wood – who’s a regular judge for the Eat Out Produce Awards – in action. (Also read our Q&As with Pete and Benny.)

And if you happen to miss an episode, you don’t have to stick your head in the oven. Here on Eat Out we’ll be providing a blow-by-blow account of each episode on the morning after, i.e. Wednesdays and Thursdays, for the full 14 weeks. Join South Africans of all ages, cultures and backgrounds in learning, empathising and triumphing with the contestants and judges in the kitchen.
