Over the past weekend, President Cyril Ramaphosa was once again seen out on the town at one of South Africa’s most awarded restaurants – safely of course.
President Ramaphosa is a big fan of tasty food, as can be deduced by the many sitings of him at wine farms, restaurants and cafes. The chefs at The Test Kitchen were thrilled and delighted to cook for the President himself, and even posing for selfies after dinner. Despite the masks – it was clear that there were big smiles on everyone’s faces.

The Test Kitchen is one of South Africa’s most awarded restaurants – having been named the Eat Out Number One Restaurant six times. Where once the restaurant boasted a waiting list of months, now chef and owner Luke Dale Roberts has adjusted its offering considering the challenges of the pandemic. The burger menu by Test Kitchen has proved to be tremendously popular with Cape Town locals looking for a world-class burger.

In early 2021, The Test Kitchen Fledgelings was launched: an in-house upliftment initiative with a fundamental philosophy of learning and teaching with passion and love. You can support the student chefs at the former Shortmarket Club in Cape Town central.
Please remember to support restaurants as safely as possible. Always wear a mask, sanitise your hands regularly and keep your distance. Seating outside or close to open doors is best, and takeaways and delivery services are a great choice if you’d prefer to stay at home.
Did he know how bad is the liquor sector are now through to lockdown did he knows this restaurants are not all of them making their ends or meets ends some are closing doors because of dept like its not easy until now
Treating a customer like a King or a Queen with a welcoming smile and dedicated service will always provide for a return visit even if the food is not fit for a KING or our President.
Not a mask in sight. Bad example Mr President.

Super Social distancing displayed by your President. Suppose he operates under a separate set of rules when it comes to practicing what he preaches.
