Western Cape Premier Helen Zille opened the Chocolate Studio in Cape Town last week. She revealed a pop art “Andy Warhol”- style chocolate art piece of herself made specifically for the occasion by head chef Alfred Henry.

The first of its kind, the large chocolate canvas was modeled on Warhol’s famous Marilyn Monroe piece.

Located in Cape Town’s De Waterkants Cape Quarter, the new Chocolate Studio is the first of its kind in the world – and the first to be fully endorsed and sponsored by the master Swiss Chocolatiers – offering specialised chocolate workshops for both chefs and enthusiasts.
