This August, Eat Out three-star restaurant Salsify at The Roundhouse will play host to another series of Sunday lunches, featuring fellow chefs who inspire executive chef Ryan Cole and are making their own mark in the industry. Ryan was honoured as the 2023 Eat Out Woolworths Financial Services Chef of the Year.

 “Four Sundays, four lunches and four amazing chefs that I am lucky to call friends – no smoke, no mirrors, just real cooking,” says Ryan. 

The lineup for August 2024 includes Johannes Richter from Eat Out Woolworths Sustainability Award-winning restaurant, The LivingRoom at Summerhill Guest Estate in KwaZulu-Natal, Mmabatho Molefe, founder of Emazulwini, Vusi Ndlovu of EDGE Restaurant, and Kobus van der Merwe from Eat Out two-star restaurant Wolfgat. 

The lunches, at a cost of R1 950 excluding wine pairing, offer a chance for the chefs to reconnect while doing what they love best. Ryan will work together with each chef to compose an eight-course menu celebrating both his and the chef’s ethos, signature style and the beauty of Cape Town’s seasonal winter produce.
