After a successful trial run in late 2014, The Banting Bazaar will return for its second stint at the City Bowl Market in Hope Street, Cape Town, on Saturday 7 February 2015.
The pop-up market will feature a cooking demonstration and the wares of over 20 local vendors, including master charcuterer Richard Bosman, Cold Gold Artisan Ice Cream & Sorbet, The Banting Boys, Societi Bistro, Truth Coffee, The Banting Box, Alison’s Kitchen, and more. The event is a new initiative by recently launched banting magazine Lose It!, a quarterly publication targeted at readers following the LCHF (low-carb, high-fat) lifestyle plan. The magazine features expert advice from doctors and nutritionists as well as eating tips, cooking secrets and LCHF success stories.
The market is set to take place on the first Saturday of every month from 9am to 2pm at the City Bowl Market in Hope Street. This Saturday you can look forward to cooking demonstrations by Lose It! food editor Justine Kiggen at 10am, 11.30am and 1pm. For more information, visit the Lose It! website or give the team a call on 021 408 3848.
