British Airways has announced that it will be serving gourmet burgers in their first-class cabins from July 2014. British Airways recommends their deluxe Gorgonzola worsrol, which is served with creamy Gorgonzola sauce, poached pear, caramelised pecan nuts and rocket, selling at R65.90.
British Airways menu design manager Mark Tazzioli and his team developed the Flying Burger, which features a 100% British beef patty with Monterey Jack cheese, gherkins and tomato relish on a brioche bun.
