After recently gracing the screens in an episode of Justin Bonello's Cooked: Out of the Frying Pan, Eat Out's multi-award winning chef Michael Broughton is again teaming up with the intrepidly travelling Bonello to make a showstopping lunch made at his restaurant, Terroir.
Held on the 30th of November, Bonello and Broughton's Big Lunch is set to be a spectacular do, featuring a three-course lunch paired with Kleine Zalze Estate's top tipples.
“Michael was one of the chefs I was most intimidated to work with for my new series,” says Justin of the pair's first encounter. “You don’t end up as one of the best chefs with one of the best restaurants in South Africa without being a little hard core and very specific. With Michael, there are no half measures.”
“He coped well with the pressure we had put him under," retorts Broughton about the duo's on-screen experience. "It was over 30 degrees in the kitchen that day, we did 60 covers for lunch and he worked – and sweated – his backside off!”
