Autumn menu for Salt restaurant

The fabulous Salt restaurant at the Ambassador hotel in Bantry Bay has just launched their autumn menu.

With glistening views over the Atlantic Ocean, Salt really is the perfect place to while away most of an afternoon. The menu highlights are semolina gnocchi, crisped and served with oven-dried tomatoes and oozing taleggio cheese.

If youre feeling fishy, the sauté of squid, chorizo and butter beans is moreish and utterly scrummy: the smoked-paprika infused chorizo adding a zesty bite to melt-in-the mouth squid.

If youre after real comfort food, the slow-cooked Moroccan lamb with chickpeas and green olives is unctuous and hearty.

Firm favourites like the ribeye steak are still on the menu for die-hards. The desserts have also been perked up with deep and rich black forest icecream served with sour cherries, providing a warm, autumnal depth to a refreshing dessert.
