The Mother Citys swishiest whisky bar, Bascule at the V&A’s 5-star Cape Grace, has undergone a minor facelift in preparation for the summer season.

Still home to the largest collection of whiskies south of the Equator, and keeping the look and feel that guests have come to love, regulars will notice an exotic touch in the bar with a scattering of Persian carpets adding some new life to the chic décor. The whisky bars early spring revamp is part of the Cape Graces complete refashioning.

To welcome locals back to the refreshed venue, Cape Grace is offering Eat Out online readers a complimentary Whisky Sour Cocktail at Bascule.
