A little venue called Il Gusto (“the taste”) has taken the place of Jimmy’s Killer Prawns in Umhlanga Centre. It is the fourth venue in a franchise, and the first to open in KZN.

The menu is Mediterranean in flavour, ranging from pastas and pizzas to Greek lamb kleftiko and veal escalopes in a gorgonzola sauce.

Look out for future wine tastings, wine festivals, gourmet evenings and even an oyster festival.
