Owner's description

Leigh and Brendan are passionate about food. This includes everything from where it is sourced from how it is prepared, how it is served and most importantly, how it is enjoyed. Along with the dynamic front of house and kitchen teams- The Table at De Meye invites you to join them for a meal to be remembered. At The Table we source local, seasonal produce for our menu. We support local suppliers, small-scale farmers and delis. Our menu changes weekly (and sometimes daily) depending on the fresh produce available, so our set menu is always a fresh and delicious surprise for guests visiting the restaurant!

Lunch at The Table was sublime - served outside at tables spread under the shade of the trees. Each course of the the three course meal was carefully planned and delicious. The attention paid to each locally sourced ingredient was apparent and combined to make a culinary feast. Well done Leigh, a fabulous hostess , you made us feel so welcome and thank you to Brendon for a beautifully executed meal! Thank you to all the friendly staff that made Sunday lunch and afternoon very special!
Family Favorite! We love going here. Food and service always outstanding
Imagine summer in Europe, tables set under trees, sunshine sifting through the leafs and wholesome family meals - the Table at De Meye is Al Fresco dining at its best. You can expect a 3-course set menu made from ingredients either grown on location or sourced from local famers. We had the best beetroot tarte tartin, slow-roasted lamb and berry coulis for dessert. Big shareable plates offer more than enough for everyone, and the carefully curated menu brings surprising, yet enjoyable flavours that keeps both the traditionalists and modernists satisfied.
Sunday lunch with a table of 8 under the trees next to the vineyards was thoroughly sublime. The service was good, the crisp Rose wine chilling next to us in ice buckets, and the food blew us away. The food is honest, delicious dishes that arrive for communal sharing. To start two big beetroot tarte tartins - utterly delicious (I have emailed the chef for the recipe), main were heirloom tomato and cucumber panzanella salad, grape, lentil, feta and watercress salad, alongside a beautifully cooked fillet and hasselback potatoes! Dessert was blueberry panacotta with strawberry sorbet. Book your table under the trees, and enjoy a slow long lunch!
What a delightful setting for a relaxed sunday lunch surrounded by friends. The tables are very spaced out situated on the grass under tall shading trees. Luke gave us a warm welcome before enlightening us on the culinary treats we were in for that day. The Table offers and extremely special dining experience where you actually don't know what you are in store for (unless you check their website) as they change their menu weekly. The beetroot tart tatin with home made creme fraîche cannot be described in words. I ate there almost six months ago and still dream about it! We had a beautifully cooked chicken in verjuice with wonderful sides. The salted caramel ice cream for dessert was sensational. Seriously looking forward to our next visit in the summer!
