Decadence and elegance can best describe Pigalle in the heart of Green Point. I've been privileged to dine here on three occasions for two staff functions and my sister in laws 21st and was never disappointed. Service is key to Pigalle's success and from the moment you enter to the time your leave, the waiter is on your beck and call from placing napkins on your lap, refilling your glasses to taking your orders in a timeous manner. On all three occasions we had an A-la-carter menu offering seafood, chicken and meat lovers a variety of options to satisfy any pallette. Meals that stood out for me was mussels in a creamy sauce with fresh rolls, Fillet pan fried perfectly with a red wine jus topped with mushroom sauce accompanied by roast vegetables and fries, while a trio of desserts is always a good choice from chocolate mousse, creme brulee to cigars and ice cream. To cap off the evening, a live jazz band lead by legendary trumpeter Ian Smith will ensure you burn those extra calories after your delicious feast
