Chef Hiren Patel specialises in South Indian-style vegetarian cuisine. His English is extremely limited but it really doesn’t matter if he misunderstands your order because whether you find yourself with a bowl of green lentil and paneer, black-eyed pea curry, dhal puri breads or sambhar broth, it’s all jolly nice. Be warned Chef Patel doesn’t do deliveries (you need to collect from him) and the delicious smells that come from the dishes on the way home may drive you to distraction.
