Garlington’s menu highlights include the deep fried Camembert, which is coated in flaked almonds and sesame seeds, and served with red wine caramelised onions, cranberry sauce and toasted sourdough. The rich and creamy Camembert is perfectly balanced by the sweet tartness of the cranberry sauce – decadence at its best.

Garlington’s sesame crusted salmon tacos are an absolute must! Beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, three soft shell tacos are loaded with a generous portion of perfectly cooked, sesame crusted salmon, and topped with a refreshing pineapple salsa, a dollop of creamy kewpie mayo, sliced avocado and caviar. The epitome of hearty country cooking, the slow braised short rib is fall-of-the-bone tender, and served with a medley of seasonal vegetables such as hay baked carrots, parsley butter baby potatoes, succulent bok choy and a savoury jus.

The restaurant boasts an extensive, varied selection of local and international wines. From fruity Chardonnays to full bodied Merlots, the wine list catered to every preference.

Service

Garlington’s Bistro & Deli boasts an exemplary complement of friendly, and professional waitrons, baristas and bartenders. The waitress, Cydney, was extremely hospitable, paid close attention to detail and went above and beyond to ensure that we were consistently happy and well looked after. Cydney offered her expert food recommendations and provided unique insight into Garlington Estate. All the staff were very friendly and approachable, engaging passionately with their customers and fellow colleagues.

Ambience 

Nestled in the stunning natural splendour of Garlington Estate, this restaurant boasts a vibrant atmosphere with modern contemporary decor and an abundance of natural light filtering through a sleek glass enclosed dining area.  

The restaurant combines eclectic lighting and bold feature walls with country chic comfort, cosy fireplaces and abundant seating both indoors and outside on the sprawling green lawns.
