Food

If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then you can start your day with breakfast here most mornings and still not work your way through the variety of choices on the menu within a year!

Refresh yourself with a smoothie bowl of yoghurt or almond milk whipped together with fresh fruit and nuts or seeds combinations to get the halfway mark between a drinkable smoothie and yoghurt with fresh fruits, if the choices gets too daunting. But a freshly pressed orange, carrot and pineapple juice can drive away any winter feelings!

Food options are available for the sweet tooths but also for the more health conscience with a choice of type of milk, gluten free basis or keto or banting options on the menu. Under 10’s children menu also available.

Drinks

A very knowledgeable sommelier was on duty. He made good suggestions but “upsold” his most expensive wine. Let the buyer beware. Check pricing.

Service

Julia was an adequate waitress, perhaps a little out of her depth and not very articulate or knowledgeable. Dwayne, the sommelier was engaging, well spoken and very knowledgeable.

Ambience

The space was large and the restaurant empty on a Sunday night. Large expanses of glass and not a feeling of great intimacy could be created. The space felt devoid of any art or decorative or architectural detailing.

The views were not spectacular from the balcony either. One sits overlooking the parking lot, a petrol station and a set of traffic lights. No captivating interior interest or beauty was created.
