The Harvest is the perfect venue, whether you’re after a picnic on the lawn or a sit down meal. Sit on the lawn under the trees and enjoy a basket packed full of fresh, homemade delicacies. The deli’s harvest table offers freshly prepared dishes including inventive salads, fish cakes, sourdough focaccias, and treats like quiches, cheese batons, baguettes, and chocolate brownies. The Harvest also offers ready-packed picnic baskets. Stock up with pantry essentials and farm fresh produce. Open Thursday and Friday from 8am-3.30pm and Saturday from 8am-4pm.
The Millflour Cafè is a welcoming industrial farm-style restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, cakes, and everything else in between. The location is serene, quiet and offers parents the chance to relax with the added benefit of the children’s play area and generous lawns. Sit beneath the trees and enjoy scrumptious meals, as well as a selection of take-home goodies (such as freshly baked loaves and pastries, cakes and more). They are open everyday from 7.45am to 4.30pm.
Tucked away in the heart of La Lucia is the beautiful, calming Neighbourhood Café and Bar surrounded by lush greenery and a canopy of trees. Bring the kids along to discover the whimsical gardens, fish ponds and their resident dogs. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (dinner only available on Friday and Saturday nights) you can expect pub-style meals. Once a month they hold a themed Sunday Roast.

Everything they serve is made from scratch, always using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. They are open daily from 8am to 4pm.
Situated just off Kassier Road, this charming, family-style restaurant is the perfect resting spot for families in need of a home away from home. This haven is away from the bustle of Durban sights and sounds is definitely one for your bucket list. Serving mouthwatering breakfasts and lunches, as well as freshly baked pastries and goods. Open daily from 8am to 4pm.
A quaint, open plan Coffee Bistro / Restaurant situated on Burnedale Farm Umhlali. They are open 7 days a week from 8.30am to 4pm and offer stunning breakfasts, lunches and a variety of home baked treats to delight your tastebuds. Located on a farm, with some cute farm animals on-site, and a wonderful play ground, Burnedale Cafe is extremely child-friendly.
The Willow Way Manor is the perfect venue to spend a day out with family and friends. With their beautiful gardens and rolling lawns, it’s just a magical venue! Their country feel coffee shop, offers something delicious for everyone. With a delicious farmstyle menu, all dishes are made with love and using only the best seasonal ingredients. Beautiful picnic baskets can be arranged for a meal with a difference. All food and drink will be supplied through the Cafe. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 3pm.
Open daily, the Sage Cafe and Deli offers a delectable selection of breakfast and lunch options. They have everything from homemade cakes and desserts to classic breakfasts, mezze platters, gourmet burgers, baked goods, pizzas and more. They have a great outdoor play area (even equipped with a climbing castle) and a beautiful, airy dining experience, with indoor and outdoor seating alike. Sit under the trees and enjoy classic café-style food. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 8am-9pm and Monday to Sunday from 8am to 5pm.
