Nestled in the heart of Rosebank, Modern Tailors is a fine dining restaurant and gin bar inspired by the flavours of Indian street food. You’re guaranteed to be transported to India with simple and authentic dishes that are perfectly executed.

The yellow potato pani puri is well-seasoned and packed with flavour, the accompanying coriander and mint “pani” complementing the yellow potato filling perfectly. The succulent and tasty chargrilled spicy tikka wings are finished off with a squeeze of lemon juice, adding a necessary tanginess to the wings.

Served with the fluffiest basmati rice, the fall-off-the-bone Durban lamb curry may not win any presentation prizes, but redeems itself with its sensational flavours.
