Food

Chefs Warehouse Beau Constantia never disappoints. Chef Ivor Jones’ signature tapas menu is a culinary journey of sheer delight. While the techniques and ingredient combinations may come from around the globe, the celebration of local seasonal ingredients is evident. All magnificent autumnal boxes are ticked, from succulent coal-roasted black figs to a gloriously rich Jerusalem artichoke risotto with perfectly crisp red skin potatoes. Each dish is mouthwatering and fabulously crafted.

Drinks

The excellent Beau Constantia wines have a prominent place on the wine list as you would imagine, but they are ably backed up by a generous selection of some of the more interesting wines the Western Cape has to offer. This is also supplemented by a fabulous cocktail list.

Service

Overall the staff are a well-polished unit; very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Their descriptions of each dish clearly comes from an appreciation and understanding of what they’re serving rather than just reciting a list of ingredients.

Ambience

The restaurant, perched on top of Constantia Nek, has magnificent views that stretch all the way to False Bay by day. By night the glittering lights of the Southern Suburbs make for the most romantic backdrop.
