I've not been to Cattle Baron Constantia since before the pandemic, but it was always a favourite of my husband and myself. He's the "steak connoisseur" and swears they have the best in Cape Town. We booked for Saturday night and were surprised to arrive to a totally redecorated restaurant that had doubled in size and now has a great outside area. We sat inside and it was just as good as before despite the restaurant absolutely jam packed. Great service from Tracy, and the steaks were honestly the best we've had. I ordered mash with mine and it was light, tasty and perfect texture. The pricing was actually really good value compared to surrounding Constantia venues, and the wine list excellent too. Now that we're going out again post pandemic, we'll definitely make this a stop each month. Well done Cattle Baron Constantia.
