SA’s most Instagrammable coffee shop to relocate to Cape Town

Those in the balmy east coast city of Durban will know all about the pink and emerald-green coffee shop that popped up on social media feeds last year. Khuluma, one of the most Instagrammable spots in the city with possibly the best banana bread around, has sadly closed up shop on Station Drive.

While this will come as sad news to Durbanites, the Mother City is set to claim this gem as its own as Khuluma makes the move to Cape Town. “We are in the process of relocating to the Cape. Currently doing some house hunting and premises looking for a new store,” says Khuluma owner Faheem Valley. “The Durban store was extremely small, felt like a pop-up shop [and] almost as [if] we were housed in a shared warehouse! We are looking to open something stand alone, as well as a larger kitchen with a bigger menu!”
