We reported last month that famed doughssant-maker Jason Lilley would be opening his third Mother City bakery, and now it’s official – the Buitenkant outpost is open and serving up all your Jason favourites.

The new spot opened today in the Tiny Empire building (beside a cannabidiol store) for its first shift of churning out fantastic coffee, pastries and sandwiches through its takeaway hatch. And yes, Jason’s famous sourdough bread will be available.

For now, the new Jason Bakery is only open weekdays from 7am to 3.30pm, but Saturdays are reportedly coming soon…
