I am saddened to tell you of the poor show at Momo Kuro last night (Saturday night) It was supposed to be an anniversary celebration for us 😒😒😒😒😫 No salmon available, no cheesecake available!! there wasn't a chef it felt like . Poke bowls both came with raw tofu? And no ramen egg ???? What a circus .. waste of time and our money Very dissatisfying and very disappointing. Embarrassed for Momo .. only ever been to the Rosebank branch , it’s good. This is clearly the D team. G Todes.
Extremely bad. We found insects on two different plates, one plate had the body and the other had heads. All the manager (Sean) could do was to say ‘sorry’ and nothing more. The matter landed up at the hands of the operational manager(Dineo). She promised vouchers but to get it, you have to remind her. They have no communication at all. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any one.
Absolutely love this restaurant. Incredibly tasty food that is very well priced. The breathtaking view is also a great plus!
Easily one of my favourite eatouts in Joburg. You cannot go wrong with the fiery peas, crispy calamari and taco ceviche! My absolute faves. I appreciate the fact that you can bring your own alcohol, gives you an opportunity to really try everything on the menu. The ambience is great, especially on a Thurdsay or Friday evening- only problem is they are often fully booked in the evenings. The staff is also very attentive, whether or not they are assigned to your specific table, which is much appreciated.
Wow, what a hidden gem! The place is literally hidden up a dark stairway and I must admit I had my doubts about whether we were in the right place as we walked up. Once at the top we were most pleasantly surprised - the restaurant has a beautiful view of the night lights and the atmosphere was buzzing. But the highlight for me was the food. We ordered a selection of dim sum and tapas dishes, all of which were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! My favourite dish has to be the firecracker chicken which is just so crispy, spicy and packed with flavour. It got busy so it took a while for some of the food to come out, but it was worth the wait. Overall, a great evening.
