Owner's description

This is the only, and original brewery in Greyton. Their restaurant makes use of coal and beer creatively to make the best food in the village. From co-labs between artisan pasta makers to outdoor cooking, they really try and offer patrons fun and tasty meals.

    Loved this place. The food and vibe is amazing

    What a surprise, a microbrewery with a twist! Beer is fantastic, the Amber lager being a highlight but the food is really the star of the show, really good stuff. My wife had a beef tataki dish that was absolutely amazing and I had a lamb Gnocchi ( from a local farm, which we actually drove past ) which was equally as good. Small town restaurants often seem a bit dodgy but this place wouldn't look out of place in Cape Town. Only niggle is service, but aloof but really thats being picky.

    Old Potters has nothing old about it , in fact it is great Country living with big city quality - excellent craft beers , friendly service , happy locals and managers Mariza and Leon keeping it quirky ! Chef Grant Lynott provides excellent inspired fare on a constantly changing menu - keeping Greyton on it's toes ! Great community feeling Wednesday nights as locals gather for many happy hours of craft beer sampling .

    Lovely local establishment that (amongst others) brings the community together for a weekly social - tasty craft beers and awesome food. Leon & Mariza thank you for being such terrific hosts, not to mention your gorgeous girls. Chef Grant serving the community something different regularly which is appreciated.

    Lovely country resturant and brewery .food reasonably priced with all most all of the main dishes below R100 .Offers accomodation as well.Chef Grant Lynott has done wonders with an ever changing menu.Lastly half price beer on wednesday from 1700 to 1900 hrs.
