A place called Birthdae Cake (we’ll forgive the misspelled name) in Fountain Valley, California, has been causing havoc with its kaleidoscope-coloured confections. We’re not kidding when we say these things are made of rainbows.
On opening day, over 800 Orange County residents lined up to get their hands on one of these luminescent, hand-crafted ice creams, frozen yoghurts and organic drinks – and with good reason.
The store, which has dubbed itself a ‘dessert haus’, has also been creating other worldly puddings with impossibly colourful fruity-pebble ice-cream sandwiches.
Also, these stacked ice creams, complete with red cones and ice-cream macaron toppings.
And rainbow-flavoured popcorn.
Not to mention alien-like lattes complete with a Boston Terrier logo.
And finally, these Power Ranger cones. Naturally.
We have many questions, but we’re almost too afraid to ask.
