Cup & Cake had Hyperli vouchers on sale all you can eat burgers. For R99 each
On this Hyperli deal it does not state what burgers it only states all you can eat burgers.
Before I purchased the vouchers, I contacted Cup & cake.
I spoke to a man and asked him if it was just one burger on this deal or is there a menu that you can chooses from.
He stated that it’s a menu that you can chooses from for this deal.
I then purchase the vouchers.
I contacted Cup & cake a day before to bake my booking and asked again about the burger deal and the same person stated again it’s a menu that you can chooses from
On my arrival at Cup and Cake the waiter gave us the menu and I said we maid a booking for the all you can eat burgers.
I asked him what burgers and we eat on this deal.
He then said all the burgers on the menu, and we can just pick the one we want.
I told him to give us 5 min.
I then noticed on the other side of the menu there is an all you can eat burger listed.
This was a plain bun and patty with tomato and letters.
When the waiter returned, I asked him if this was not the all you can eat burger and he said no we can pick from the menu.
We placed our order.
After waiting 40min for the food.
The waiter gave us our food but not what we order of the menu but the plain burger.
He then only told us for the 1st time we can pick from the menu.
I then asked to speak to the manager. He said ok he will call the manager.
After waiting 15min and still no manager I decided to go to the waiter only to be told that the manager is not here.
So, I then said why don’t you come and tell me the manager is not here. he then could not answer me. I asked for the managers contact details and he gave the Cup and Cake’s number.
So, we left Cup & Cake after not eating at all and wasting 90 min of my day and one hours drive to there and back (50km)
I then called every day for 7 days only to be told by the same person every day that the manager will be in tomorrow witch never happened.
On day 7 when I asked who is the manager on duty he said it’s the Sheff when I asked to speak to him he said hold and when he came back he said he is busy and just put the phone down in my ear.
This was the worst service I have ever experienced in my life and not I have left a message on up and Cake Facebook page for Sonja the owner to contact me and still nothing.
I will now be filling a complaint on HelloPeter , Ombudsman, Eden On the Bay and a nice news article for the news papers
