I got seated and got the menu from the waiter. Waited 10 mins, no one came to take my order. While waits were walking up and down serving people who came after me, and went I left. There were waiters chilling and chatting insides.
Poor Service all round

We went there as two young ladies looking to catch up over drinks and tapas after a long while apart. As we entered we had to seat ourselves. Not only that, but we did not know who was serving us. At some point we even had three people serving us and the service was APPALLING. Later on I was joined by my boyfriend who on arrival was also taken aback by the poor service.
We normally enjoy the atmosphere, but the service always ruins the experience. The food is nothing to write home about. If you’re looking for that, I suggest you try next door.

As I entered the restaurant the summer vibe called out to me. It was buzzing with with laughter and conversation. The soft yet classic naunces of the decor remind you of a far away restaurant in a different country, bold yet simplistic. The deck with the yachts and boats as a backdrop- LOVE IT. The service was a bit slow as can be expected when a restaurant is chock and block full but still of good quality. It’s just a pity that the wind blew away my naan bread for my chicken and prawn curry and it wasn’t replaced. Now for the food-my mouth was bursting with flavor from the chicken curry, the chicken was soft and broke into smaller pieces without any effort. The prawn however wasn’t as flavoursome, and when dipped into the curry it was overpowered. I would’ve loved for the prawn to have a more garlicy taste or something similar to bring out its flavor. Overall it was a good first time experience

The menu is not overly exciting and therefore the flavors and presentation should be exceptional.
The meal arrived and my seared tuna looked anything but seared - more like blanched and was luke warm.... not a bad thing for fish. It was rather thin and the flavor was somewhat lacking.
A very average 80's style salad accompanied the meal.
I was expecting some fresh interesting plating and a fabulous salad.
My guests had mussels and sushi with rice paper - the mussels were more shell, sauce and bread than flesh and the sushi was all very white...
The decor is comfortable and beautiful with touches of elegance that could do with some regular styling.
Service was friendly although it took a while for the bill to be summonsed and then was also overcharged.
All together it was a pleasant enough experience, but not worthy of the cost.
Cape Town is full of amazing cuisine and culinary talent so I think they need to make more effort.
