Cubana in Fourways is not a nice place. The story goes like this. Me and my cousin went to Cubana, the bouncer refused to allow us in because we were wearing shorts, but all of sudden he allowed 3 guys with shorts in, after confronting the bouncer, he apologised and said he is new and does not know the rules properly and then manager came and still refused to allow me to enter because I was wearing a cap. I again pointed to her 3 other people inside wearing caps, she then turned around and said it’s because they are women and women are allowed to wear caps. I felt like we were personally targeted. My cousin who stays close by then reported that this not the first time this had happened, Cubana in Fourways Johannesburg is notorious with specific crowd. An attitude like this should not be allowed and the place needs to be more caring to the customers and not make and break rules as they wish.
