It's easy to walk past this unnoticeable restaurant tucked between a laundromat and a what looks like a typical vacant Woodstock building. Once you're inside, you know that you're in for either a treat, or a last-time visit. Questionable in many ways, but authentic and filled with what seems like regulars, Andalousse doesn't offer the best ambience; loud sports TV and the sorts, but you realise this is what in the ends makes for the perfect ambience. Go hungry, and go with a crowd so you can taste and share. From the get-go we we're pleasantly surprised - we started with traditional mint tea and sweet biscuits and soon moved unto what tasted like the most amazing cheesy flatbread ever. Shish kebabs, baba ganoush, humus, flatbread, couscous and my favourite for the night a lamb tagine with prunes, raisons and just enough cinnamon. Don't tell everyone, but this is definitely one of the most underrated restaurants around. Trip to Morocco is now definitely on my Top 5 Travel List.
