Welcome to Baconville: Bacon on Bree’s soon-to-open second branch

Cape Town’s northern suburbs have some glorious wine farms, some beautiful places to eat, and some excellent places to picnic. But there has been one thing they’re desperately missing: a dedicated bacon bar. Until now, that is.

Bacon on Bree, Richard Bosman and Justine Seymour’s bacon-themed restaurant in Cape Town’s city bowl, announced today via their Facebook page that they’re planning to open up a branch in Tyger Valley, Bellville. Called Baconville, the new restaurant is set to open at the beginning of November at the Willowbridge centre.

The new branch is a franchise of the Bree original, but will offer a similar menu featuring many of the classics from the original branch, plus a few special dishes. And yes, there are plans to open more franchise versions in the future.

We can’t wait.
