First order was Minestrone soup - one of the soups of the day. Soup came a few minutes after the chicken burgers for the other two at my table. Soup tasted like hot water with crunchy vegetables. I sent it back and requested the butternut soup. Equally tasteless - I added chillies and lots of salt just to have some flavour. Texture was not good - like there was way too much corn starch added to thicken the soup. The table where I wanted to sit was not cleaned, although the previous guests had apparently been long gone since I never saw anyone at that table. Under the table was a newspaper, various pieces of food and pieces of paper. Seriously Tasha's. I have grown to expect a completely different experience from your restaurant. I must say I am greatly disappointed in the food and the ambiance. When I sent the first soup back the waiter indicated that the manager would come speak with me. That never happened. Going back to Tasha's will take quite a bit of convincing.

I have been to Tashas Menlyn Maine many times. Was Saturday evening shocked that prices went up, but quality down. Ordered chicken breast that was supposed to be made with couscous and parmesan. Absolutely no sign of couscous or parmesan on that chicken (was also told the menu item was actually only half a portion, although this was not indicated on the menu). Manager then brought me some precooked bulgar which was soaked in hot water, since would take too long to prepare couscous. He told me the owner would contact me, but a week later nothing so far. Tashas Menlyn deserves the current empty seats and a 1 star rating.

Tasha’s is beautifully decorated, inspired by a taste of Levant. The worldly interior is layered with luxury and sophistication. I enjoyed a green shakshuka breakfast for lunch and my friend a toasted sandwich. My breakfast was served in a hot pan – bejewelled with shimmering leaves and herbs, the egg a golden sun crowned with shards of crispy, sesame seed flatbread. The tastes were extraordinary. Service was professional and attentive. The toilets were impeccable with fragrant Africology hand soap and hand lotion. I loved the attention to detail.

shockingly bad experience. extremely noisy. horrendous background music which sounded like somebody banging a pan. bland tasteless overpriced food. waiters trying to get rid of you. don't bother. nice furnishings but bad food.

Went to Tasha's on Sunday afternoon. Ordered the steak strips in a sauce with sun dried tomatoes. Dish totally unbalanced and included stewed tomatoes instead of the sun dried promised on the menu. Very noisy with staff shouting from the kitchen. Eventually moved to escape the noise. Very over priced. Will not be going back.
