Planning a braai for Heritage day tomorrow but struggling to find the right font for your invitations? Local butchery Frankie Fenner has the answer for you. The business partnered with agency 34° to solve this meaty problem by creating an entire alphabet out of boerewors.
The butchery, which has branches in Claremont, Woodstock and the city bowl, supplies many of Cape Town’s top restaurants. Each letter was shaped out of sausage before being photographed and used to create the font, which is now available at www.sayitwithwors.co.za.
The website allows users to type their message into a field, click ‘mince’ to have it translated into wors, and then download the message or share on a social platform. You can also simply click the ‘mince’ button to generate a random Heritage Day message.
What a time to be alive!
