This hotel shouldn't be rated 4 stars because the service is that of a 1 star diner! I booked a table over a month ago with Amanda. I booked for 11am and specified that I was going to have a champagne breakfast as it was my partners birthday. Amanda confirmed the booking and even sent me the breakfast menu. I called the hotel the day before my reservation and Amanda again confirmed that all was in order. When we arrived for breakfast at 11am to my shock I was told that the kitchen was not serving breakfast anymore. What a let down! I was then met by the restaurant manager Massimo who is the worst manager a restaurant can have. So rude! Lack of customer service and just so nonchalant. He was too busy setting up the lunch tables instead of dealing with our issue. When he eventually decided to attend to us he said he would "make a plan" and to our disgust he came back with a slice of burnt around the edges toast and some lays! Yes!!!! Lays!!! For a 4 star hotel I was so shocked that we got up and left immediately! Thank goodness that there are a few other really great restaurants around the cradle. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Absolutely NOT 4 stars!!
