Seriously love Il Tricalore. I go to PE probably once a month, and stumbled upon this place by chance. I would love them to open a place in Johannesburg so i could go more regularly. I actually dont know where to start when rcommending what to eat. My favourites are the beautifully creamy texture of the melanzane, the fresh east coast mussels in a spicy tomato broth, the thin crisp parma ham and rocket pizza, the simple aged tagliata, the fresh gnocchi made with pancetta pecorino and fresh cherry tomatoes, and the italian cake they have. I was in rome and bologna in July and this place stands back to no one in italy. For me it actually supasses anything i had there. Its an art to achieve a pizza base as thin and crisp as Il Tricalore make it. If you live in PE or are passing through, this is where you need to be!!!!!Notifications
