Swiss filmmaker Stefan Ruegg has made a beautiful video of a recent trip he and his partner, Nina, made to Cape Town. Subtitled “Cape Town – Where food-lovers’ dreams come true”, the video shows a host of Instagram-worthy dishes from restaurants in and around the city.

In an interview on Elsewhere by Kuoni, Ruegg, who is part of a film production company called X52 Films in Zurich, sings Cape Town’s praises. His summary: a staggering culinary offering, excellent wines, a diverse landscape and warm people. He also praises the superb light, comparing its quality to that of LA.
