Our booking was done by the Golf Lodge at Gowrie farm... I travel extensively world wide and this was the first time that I was charged by any proclaimed Italian restaurant for Parmesan cheese... Which I asked for after my Pasta arrived.
In principle I would never recommend this restaurant as I believe one should inform your patrons when you order and something you ask for is not included in the meal.
In taking this up with management they just shrugged their shoulders and say they have been doing this for years...
If you want an Italian experience close by rather go to La Lampara...
