Almost a year old only and Balconi Culinary Greek restaurant in Fourways has become a popular choice for modern Greek cuisine, a contemporary fresh setting and great views.

As their motto promises, Serving you Greek food, prepared by passionate Greeks, the Greek way!, you will find a menu stuffed with Greek delights from Executive Chef, Andreas Chrysostomou.

Choose from classic dips like skordalia, tapenade and melitzanosalata and from the vegetarian meze section which includes Haloumi and feta herb phyllo parcels, Spanakopita and marinated artichokes. Other lighter fare includes various meat or fish meze and salads.

Main meals such as mousaka, kleftiko, lamb chops, lemon chicken, meaty fare and fish dishes offer a hefty choice – very difficult to pick. I could go on and on, the menu sounds tantalising and it has made me start to think very seriously about lunch.
