Chef bio
Chef Yngve Muldal is fairly new, having been at Forty Ate for just over five months. Before that Yngve completed a stint at Michelin-starred boutique hotel, Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, in Oxford, UK.

Other UK experience includes working at the impressive exclusive Diamond Club Restaurant at the Emirates football stadium, catering for the big-time spenders. As Yngve says, it was ‘a truly unbelievable experience’.

Then back in SA, Yngve gained experience at Manolo under chef Phillip Alcock (who has since moved on to theshowroom).

Now at Forty Ate, Yngve looks set to revamp the culinary experience and add new energy to the mix. ‘I'm lucky to be working with such a happy and energetic young crew and I hope my stay at Forty Ate is fruitful for the restaurant, myself and the crew and more importantly our guests.’
