The contemporary and stylish Jardine Restaurant in Cape Town from the team of Eat Out Chef of the Year 2006, George Jardine, and co-owner Wilhelm Kühn, have just opened a new bakery around the corner from the restaurant.
You’ll love the fact that it’s open from 7am from Monday to Friday and that they serve ‘devilishly good croissants’ for you to munch on with your morning coffee.
Other than that, you will find various loaves including Pain au Levain and sourdough rye, pastries, pork pies, buns and muffins, cakes, cookies and gourmet sandwiches – think house smoked salmon, caper berries, avocado and crème fraîche.
