Mushroom enthusiasts in Gauteng take note, as the weekend of 26, 27 and 28 October marks the arrival of the second annual Soweto Mushroom Festival.

During this weekend-long celebration restaurants and B&Bs throughout Soweto will serve a variety of mushroom-inspired dishes, showcasing the taste and versatility of fresh cultivated mushrooms.

Participating establishments promise to offer an exciting line-up of dishes on their specially designed mushroom menus for the 3-day festival period.
