The seventh floor of Mandela Rhodes Place in the heart of the Mother City has been transformed into a theatre of culinary dreams with the opening of the chic new Synergy on 7.
With a warmly-minimalist interior of wood and glass and the Cape Town skyline as dramatic backdrop, Synergy on 7 promises what Chef Dominique Guebert (pictured) calls a wow factor with a whole lot of electricity.
The menu consists of classic meets contemporary with the emphasis on colours and flavours using only organic vegetables and quality fish and meat, says Chef Guebert.
With a background in classical French cuisine, his menu will include such enticing options as tuna with green beans, tomato, baby marrow, olives & garlic in a rosemary sauce; Caramelised duck breast with five spice, honey, pak choi, bacon and lentils; or Line fish with lobster risotto, peas, potato scales and shellfish bisque.
Synergy on 7 will be open for lunch and dinner from November this year.
