If youre lucky enough to live in the Dutch town of Amersfoort, eating out with your children doesnt need to feel like a nauseating visit to Disney World.
A new restaurant concept here aims to welcome parents and their children without over compensating or compromising the experience for either group.
The brainchild of Amsterdam-based designers, Frank Tjepkema and Janneke Hooymans, Praq restaurant invite parents and children to dine in an integrated rather than separated manner with the clever use of bold colours, fun but sophisticated furniture and all-round clever design.
A farm-style ceiling composed of massive wooden beams lends a homey atmosphere throughout.
Adults and children are still catered for with seperate menus ranging from woodfired pizza and beef tournedos with sauce béarnaise for grown-ups, to calfs sausage with potato salad and spaghetti carbonara for the kiddies.
