Its almost time for one of the biggest annual celebrations in the Winelands, as the Stellenbosch Wine Festival comes to the town of oaks from 31 July to 3 August.

This year again sees over 100 wineries on show, presenting more than 500 wines to taste. Experience comparative varietal tastings, meet your favourite winemakers and participate in informative wine talks.

More than 30 food stalls will offer some gourmet nourishment, while food fundis can also stand by for some live cooking demonstrations.

A special shuttle service is offered for wine-lovers and tourists travelling from Cape Town. Just park your car at the Clock Tower at the V&A Waterfront and meet the Wine Desk shuttle for the ride to Stellenbosch. Booking is essential so phone the Wine Desk on 021 405 4550.
