The annual Garden Route gourmet get-together, Gastronomica, reaches the shores of Knysna from 24 – 28 September, and this years line-up offers a tasty variety of cookery demonstrations and food-related events to suit every foodie palate.
Watch some of Knysnas top chefs prepare their signature dishes in the live food theatre at Thesen Island or explore the special Gastronomica restaurant route which meanders through town, with participating restaurants including Cruise Cafe, Ile de Pain and Zacharys amongts others.
Other events include a wine course presented by Jane Simon, a whisky extravaganza and a gala dinner entitled Feast with intrigue…
