From tripe with chorizo, to brains with black butter, Savoy Cabbage in Cape Town celebrates the fifth quarter this June with their Annual Offal Fortnight.
Every lunch and dinner until the 19th of June, a wide range of offal dishes will be available on the menu – including kidney and lambs liver crespelle, pig’s trotters stuffed with mushrooms, and chicken mousse with sweetbreads.
Non-offal eaters need not despair – the normal daily menu will remain in place, and a special three-course Pot Luck Dinner menu will also be available at a reasonable R195 per person.
