The Serengeti Golf and Wildlife resort north of Johannesburg is home to a brand new contemporary restaurant, aptly named E18HTEEN.
According to Tony Barnett, the Executive Chef at E18HTEEN, the idea of E18HTEEN was born when it was decided to showcase 18 of South Africa’s finest wines, in keeping with course designer Jack Nicklauss 18 Major titles.
Quite fittingly, Tonys menu of 18 dishes are perfectly paired with 18 hand-selected wines.
Diners can expect dishes that are bold and exciting, such as oyster & cucumber tempura, ginger ice, love sauce, or seared salmon, oyster greens, mussel veloute, shellfish and shitake risotto, coriander air.
