Nook Eatery is the latest cosy café addition to Stellenboschs booming restaurant scene.

Situated in Van Ryneveld Street, the friendly eatery occupies the space which previously housed the popular Greek Kitchen.

Unfussy breakfasts, sticky cinnabons, sandwiches and simple salads are the order of the day.

Specialities include croque monsieur with gypsy ham and gruyere, roast beef sandwich with caramelised onion, and a nook burger with free-range beef, avo and tomato, while Wednesday evenings are devoted to wood-fired pizzas.
